If you look very closely (preferably frame-by-frame on video), you
will notice that immediately after Derren grabs the man's left hand,
he places a malted strawberry drink in the right hand, causing his
subconcious to become confused. He then agrees with everything that
Derren says until he is snapped out of it.
This "Milkshake Induction" can be used anytime, anywhere, much like
the Braun Independent.
(That is my favourite ever line from Derren Brown - "The scent of
different breeds of dogs is just something I've taken the time to
learn". Beyond parody, genius stuff.)
