I parahrase) "a bunch of clips from the specials sandwiched between new
material"

Derren does have a good number of tricks up his sleeve, although I agree
that he does abuse a both remenisce and lift. I am sure there is a little
"lift" in the dojo scene.

With reference to Blaine (DBUS), weeelllll maaannnnnnnn
liiiaaaakkkkkkkkeeeeee.... (hehe), the only episode of DBUS that I have
caught in full was the "standing on a stick" episode, in which I was
incredibly impressed (not sarcasm) at his 350 presentations of a
double-lift. So perhaps your comparison is not so unfair after all?

I am sure in future episodes of DB (UK) you will find a dozen or so quite
different tricks :)
