Subject: [Derren Brown] Re: Boring...

********************************************************************
This post is for those interested. Please note it refers to NLP,
anchoring etc...although i added shoe laces at the top of the
post...its just pacing (pun for all those shoe people lol)
********************************************************************

I was going to talk about shoe laces and whether he crosses or
straight ties em ...but....

Has anyone read the NLP book (NLP!!! naughty little people)
called... "going meta" by M. Hall?

Its (dare i say..i dare lol) ...on logical levels and meta levels
etc ...one interesting point (interesting to whom, well i have lost
all touch with such questions lol) ...is the idea of anchoring on
different levels.

Setting an anchor at a primary level ..VAK...one can use visual,
kinesthetic or auditory.

But when trying to anchor "meta states"....feelings ABOUT feelings
etc. one must anchor on a higher logical level. (via words
etc...although kinesthetic anchor might work)

It also talks about changing the term "sub-modalities" to "meta-
modalities" ...because they "drive" rep. systems (and are at a higher
logical level) rather than being "sub" to rep. systems

If you like NLP...you may find "going meta" interesting. If you don't
like NLP...you may find "going mad" interesting. Both of which are
interesting, but thats a double bind.

and one more thing...
