okay, that's helpful...
The thing is, if you outline what you are finding helpful, we should be
able to model that part of the email and word things like that more
frequently. We get to play with a new model. You get to understand. The
group is an all-round winner.
Likewise, pick some things you found confusing or difficult. I, for one,
will not be at all insulted if you say "I felt that you waffled <here>"
(maybe it was just a point made badly) or "What 'specifically' did/do you
mean by <blah>". These will isolate what could be considered a 'bad model' :-)

Yeah, it is like a screwdriver. Unless you have a loose toilet seat or a
burgular to stab, owning a screwdriver is pretty pointless. The difference
being that a screwdriver doesn't require any real level of skill or
aptitude, so you can put it down and pick it up as and when required.
