Hi June,

The thing with instant induction, like most of this stuff {what stuff?} is
that once you understand what is happening and how it happens you can
"adopt, adapt and improve". The variations are endless: Set a pattern -
break a pattern; the brain gets confused and awaits instructions, cause
enough confusion and it's your suggestions that get through. The handshake
induction is just looking for a place where a pattern is already known to
exist, thus eliminating step 1.

Someone else here theorised about the process of lighting a cigarette for
someone was another learned unconious pattern.

Does that help at all?
