Just a little note about Blaine, he was quite open about the handles which
could be pushed in or out of the tower, he used them when the wind got up and
also to steady himself just before the jump

Something that made me chuckle to myself yesterday, is that when I
was watching David Blaines "Street Magic", and on there he
explicitally says that he doesn't use any props, or anything. It's
done on the street not in "an elaborate set".

He also says this, and I quote:

"It's like everybody's trying to do the next biggest special effect,
I mean it just gets bigger and bigger, whens it gonna stop??"

HEH, It makes me laugh when I think about what he's done over the
years...Hmm, let me see "Burying himself for seven days and seven
nights", "Frozen in time", And the biggest so far "Vertigo".

- "It just gets bigger and bigger, whens it gonna stop??". So when
is it going to stop then David, when I also heard you totally
contradict yourself at the end of Vertigo when he jumps down, and
they find him.

- "This is just the beginning".

Right well that's my point conveyed, I hope :~

Just one last thing to keep your tastebuds warm. If you watch the end
of vertigo when they're showing you him jumping down, if you watch
closely, (you'll have to pause it). You'll see that there was two
handlebars on either end of David's tower. Now he said at the
beginning that they'll be 'nothing supporting him'. The tower prooves
otherwise.

And if you're wondering why you never saw them in any part of the
show... Think about video editing? And if you're still not convinced,
watch the VERY last scene when you just see David standing there
with 'nothing supporting him'. Doesn't that clip seem a little
strange. Oh yeah, and another thing, look at his hands. Nobody stands
like that if they're gripping nothing!
