DB does own a mind-power deck of cards and suggests that the beginner could
use them pratice 'mentalist' methods. I have not seen him use these on
TV. Basically, these cards (and many other card TRICKS) allow you to
practice things like lip-reading ready for the real stuff.
I'm sure DB will have read Psychological Subleties and several other books
like this.
Essentially I get the impression that this web site is into the
sucker-you-in-and-rip-you-off school of thought.
If you want to practice face/lip reading, a good place to start is to KNOW
what they are thinking and then try to work it out from their cues. DBs
video is veerryy helpful for this, but don't expect "how to make a matalist
out of a newbie in 2hrs 47mins"
