I don't know any ad-men, so this is all guess-work, but I would suspect
that they spend (too) much time looking at what us minions find interesting
so as to draw ideas.

This said, one thing I had considered is that they would likely look where
the cameraman (also in the cab) was looking. This way DB gets to 'direct'
the clues they are desperately seeking so as to work out where this "secret
location" is.
