Subject: Help with tricks
Hi, i am an amateur magician, and when I first saw MC1 I was
astounded by what derren could do to people - i became fascinated -
and since then, my magic tricks have changed from simple coin and
card tricks to more psychological tricks that he does.
Although I don't know how to do those tricks or condone that i can do
them, there are ways in which you can acheive the same effect as he
does - but not necesarrily using his methods - especially with the
card tricks.
I am very intrigued, and there are a few tricks i would like some
suggestion to how it is done - so I can perhaps practice techniques
that teach me how to influence people like he does.
The tricks i am particularly interested in are:
Dentistry - in one of the MCs he gives 3 people toothache simply by
talking about it and touching their jaw - any ideas?
Train memory loss - A man going to Archway had that piece of
info "lost" from his mind - only to instant remember it again when
Derren tapped his head - again any clues?
Also I would like to get an idea of how to be able to tell what
someone has thought of "ie on Jonathon Ross the other day where he
told him to think of a place, thing etc and he guessed it
eventually" - are there techniques u can use and if so can you
explain them to me?
