Jeffries - an interesting read if you can get past the rampant
misogyny and woman hatred (which is evident throughout!). Alot of the
techniques Derren uses are discussed in his "teachings", in a more
overt way.
Uhh, who cares about how they got to 'warm to him', most of the
questions here are about the mind reading he did, so hence, it's not
really an added bonus is it?

Yes it was. There's a similar effect on the Internet somewhere. I
think it works much better on the internet though, coz in the e-mail
I got, it conditioned me to concentrate, and then put the volume up,
after that, I got some serious fright!!
By no means was it childish though. I really liked that Derren
incorporated it in his show, but it didn't work on me, not coz I've
seen it before, but because I wasn't concentrating.
