hi,
I think it works on a couple of principles:
1) Suggestion. He plants the idea in the guys mind about forgetting things "on
the tip of your tongue"
2) Sentance fragments. By throwing lots of short sentances/commands/questions
at the guy ("thinking about it now" "how does that feel?" "why were you going
there?" etc) he clogs up his short term memory, stopping him from actually
remembering the station name.
3) He does that funny hand swish thing. I think that is some kind of suggestor
for erasing a thought. Don't know alot about that!
like alot that Derren does it doesnt work all the time.......
