Subject: sources of methodology

I have (gratefully) followed the links from here to some excellent
websites; thanks to all of you who posted those links.

Here are a couple of my own offerings:

An absolute MUST-HAVE is a cassette course (probably availabe on CD
by now - I bought mine some time ago!) by Brummy business guru Peter
Thompson. The course is called, Conversation - The Power Of
Persuasion and talks about "the language of influence" and
the "subconscious encoding process" among other things like body
language and eye cues. Peter is a truly excellent speaker and
delivers with humour as well as an immense depth of knowledge.

Also, there is the Silva Method (www.silvamethod.co.uk) in which hand-
numbing comes as standard! Excuse the awful Americanism, but it is
refered to on the course as "glove anesthaesia". Also demonstrations
of the power of words as well as training in accessing altered states
of consciousness for self-improvement through meditation and
visualisation. Don't take my word for it...
