Subject: A strange case of what seemed to be THE case...

A PERSONAL VIEW ON WHAT DB DOES OR DOES NOT 'SEEM' TO DO

Let us presuppose everything DB does is a mere clever trick. From
here, lets suppose that once we learn the 'trick', we can do what
DB 'seems' to do. End of story...its just tricks.

Now, let us suppose that we look at what DB 'seems' to do and act 'as
if' its true. We then try our best to reproduce these behaviours and
patterns for 'real'. Now it might be the case that DB uses tricks but
what if one tries to achieve 'for real' what 'seems' to be the case?
Would even DB say 'WOW!'? hmmmm...

Art Tatum - a jazz solo pianist - once heard a recording. The
recording was of 'the most amazing solo piano' Art Tatum ever heard,
so he said. So Art Tatum took this playing as a model. He developed
an amzing piano sound just like the one he heard on the recording.
What Tatum did not realise at the time was that the 'pianist' on this
recording was in fact TWO pianists playing a duo. Through
this 'mistake' he produceD a piano technique that sounded like 'two
people playing'. Sometimes we can take what 'seems' to be the case
and strive to make it the case.

The question is what you want to achieve and how do you choose to
frame your mental world? Sometimes acting 'as if' and exploring what
happens can be, if not anything else, fun.

Regards Terry
