I take it that this first handshake is completed (i.e. there's no
interruption of any sort, and is -- for all intents & purposes -- a
bona fide handshake)?

Again, is this second handshake completed? Also, can you explain the
terms "pacing" and "leading" in slightly greater detail (sorry, I'm
new to NLP)?
