Mentalism effects invariably are Slieght of Hand, if you want to
learn slieght of hand feel free.
There are thousands of magiciacians, who know slieght of Hand and
there is only one Derren Brown
Knowing slieght of Hand will not make you derren brown (paul Daniels
had fantastic slieght of Hand skills!)
What makes Derren different is his persuasion and misdirection
skills, you can use theses skills in all aspects of life,rather than
just magic, and I believe they are much more poweful, and you like
me would agree that is what makes DB a truly amazing performer!
Just My Opinion
I have alot of mentalism materials. I also spent many years
studying hypnosis and NLP.
I find the hypnosis and NLP much more powerful, and because I can
hypnotise peeople, it makes my mentalism much more
poweful/believable, but more importantly I find Hypnosis and NLP
much more useful to covertly persuade and influence people in my
daily life!
