Subject: 1 Working on modeling........
Hello,
I wonder if anyone would like to help me...I am trying to create some
papers on modeling...putting together a practical method.
Do any of you have any useful resources or information on modeling?
How do YOU model? Any elements or steps I can use? etc.
To start the ball rolling and to lead by example...I found this
below....'abilities that make up a modeler'...which you may find
interesting, i don't know.

Abilities that make up a modeler
Ability to see the big picture - and the small pictures that make it
up, together with the relationship between them.
Ability to look for how the big picture emerges from the pieces that
make it up without reducing the big picture to the sum of the smaller
pieces.
Ability to excel in pattern detection.
Ability to be a divergent thinker.
Ability to perform thought experiments: 'I wonder what would happen
if...?'
Ability to think systemically.
Ability to be patient and do not jump to conclusions - they are
comfortable with not knowing.
Ability to know the difference between a model and a description.
Ability to know when to model the process and when to model the end
result.
Ability to know how big a chunk size is enough.
