Subject: Peter Powers - Steaming Neds
Last night, i witnessed the "world's fastest" hypnotist Peter Powers -
star of the Naughty Haughty Hypno show- do his stuff at the pavilion
theatre in Glasgow.
I am not a great fan of crude hypnosis, but his show was all in all,
very good.
He started by using waking suggestion to get peoples hands locked,
and those whose hands remained stuck were to come up on stage and
volunteer.
Being in Glasgow, there were a few steaming teenage girls, i thought
he would dismiss them, but no.
Imagine two drunk girls all dressed in white (trousers sandals and
tops ), with their thongs (silver and red) clearly visible.
He used eyelid fixation on the locked hands, and the falling back
method to further deepen their altered state of consciousness (which
due to the amount of alcohol they consumed, they were in one before
they even arrived at the theatre )
After he got the girls to fall back onto the stage asleep, you could
tell due to their body positioning they had been on their back, quite
a few times before. Which made for a good laugh.
Eventually they had to be dismissed since he could not keep control
of them, as they were staggering about the stage and becoming more
and more outrageous.
The male volunteers, were also excellent, he got them to strip right
down until they were about to remove their pants, and then he sent
them back into the audience in their pants, until the show ended. At
which point they realised they had no clothes on and rushed back onto
the stage.
I will not spoil his routine, by going into more detail, all I will
say is that for £10 for two tickets, he is well worth seeing.
My one criticism is that he did not fully awaken the subjects
correctly, and a few left the show still clearly not fully alert.
Anyway, this is not a Derren related post , so I will stop.
