Hey!
Lauren!! Grrr you've finished exams?! Lucky thing. I am at uni and I
have 4 exams this coming week (one on a Saturday morning!!) and
another the week after!

I am just taking a break from horrible exam revision to tell you
(well, the more serious NLP people here) about "pattern interrupt"
(like at the dog racing track) examples that have happened to me.

Strangely I noticed them when I was playing badminton (socially with
friends):
-we were playing doubles and when on the serve, the guy I was serving
to, held his racket sideways on, and with both hands (in a way where
he obviously couldn't have returned it) I was left confused. When I
served to him, he changed his position and returned it – and as I was
still thinking about how he was holding it at the start, I failed to
return it – and he won the point!

-However, the best one of all, is when you come to the end few points
of the match. I remember when the other team were on their last
point, I made the "karate kid" stance on one foot just before they
served. – They were so taken back and confused, that they just
couldn't return it to save their lives! Lol!

I suppose I better be getting back to revision. And on another
note... did you all see the start of big brother? I'll be honest, I
never watch it, and after seeing that "MENTAL" girl from Essex, I
have lost the will power to watch any more of it anyway!

See ya!
Simon C
