Subject: What's our purpose...?
Dear Groupettes,
I've just had the misfortune of reading some of the sillier recent
posts to this group and it seems to me that we have lost our way a
little.
The thing we seem to have lost sight of is why we are a member of
this little collection of lovely messages in the first place. I had
thought that it was to voice our appreciation of the pleasant Mr B
and his amazing antics.
Perhaps the adage "If you can't say something nice, don't say
anything" would be a good one to adopt.
So, here is a radical suggestion, let's be nice, talk about DB and
what he does and don't get too carried away with ourselves...
If we can't do that I think a lot of us will be inclined to take our
delightfully squidgy thoughts and place them lovingly in a different
location on Her Majesty's Internet.
