Subject: Re: Jumbled

I caught an episode of the Naughty Naughty Hypno
Show on C5 about two years ago.
I thought this
show went far beyond what was/is acceptable. Firstly,
they had some guy walking around the studio who was
hypnotised to think he was Austin Powers, the only
difference being that he had a huge strap-on dildo as part
of his outfit.
However, this paled in comparison
to what was to follow...he takes two guys into a
branch of Ann Summers and hypnotises them to believe
that their penises have been removed from their
bodies, whilst still retaining all sensation. Their
penises are then represented by two dildoes (or should
that be dildii?) which happen to be at hand.

Firstly, the hypnotist gets a female assistant (who is not
hypnotised) to perform fellatio on one of the dildoes, much
to one of the guys bemusement/pleasure. Midway
through this disembodied blowjob, the hypnotist takes the
dildo and smashes it against a metal support strut with
an audible clang, which doubles the guy over in
pain, as you might well expect. The sad thing is, this
guy is the one that got off lightly.
For the
second guy, the hypnotist gets a male member of staff
(again, unhypnotised) to perform fellatio on the second
guy's penis/dildo, which causes no amount of
consternation on the part of the subject. On the one hand, he
is on the receiving end of some exquisite head, but
on the other hand, it's being administered by a
bloke, and the subject is quite obviously heterosexual
and uncomfortable with this notion. After he's
suffered for a little while, the hypnotist asks what's
wrong, to which the subject replies 'he's got my penis'
to which the hypnotist responds 'what this? If this
was your penis, I wouldn't be able to do THIS!' and
then starts running a lighter underneath the dildo
until it starts to show the effects of the heat, which
was uncomfortable enough for me, so I shudder to
think what it felt like for the poor guy!
It wasn't
until I started thinking about the long term
implications that it really began to concern me. Think about
it: Guy#1 can laugh it off with his mates...hey, he
got a blowjob out of it! But Guy#2? Well, no doubt
some know-it-all down the local pub will start up with
the old 'They can't hypnotise you to do something you
don't want to do...if they told you to kill your mum,
you wouldn't be able to do it, you'd come out of the
trance' line, with the obvious implication that Guy#2
didn't come out of trance because he's gay and was
loving every second of it. I'm sure Guy#2 has probably
been wrestling with that issue himself since he did
that show...what if it's true? What if I really am
gay/ have been suppressing my latent
homosexuality...after all, why didn't I come out of the trance? That
nagging doubt will now be forever at the back of his
mind.
I don't remember the name of the hypnotist, but
if someone else does, please post it, as I would
like to avoid that guy like the plague.
Anyway,
apologies for such an overly long posting, as well as the
language contained within...it just seemed best to tell it
like it is/was!
Oh, and by the way, for any
knee-jerk politically correct reactionaries that might be
lurking out there and misinterpret my post, please be
advised that I am in no way suggesting or insinuating
that there is anything inherently 'wrong' with
homosexuality or homosexuals, but rather with what the
hypnotist did. My problem is that the hypnotist either did
not consider or did not care about the long term
implications of what he did.
