Victor I agree, we shouldn't be rude so quickly
to new members with genital personalities, perhaps
we can just build up to it slowly and thus catch
them off guard :-)
The induction utilised in the
opera house and at the young offenders institutiion was
called a 'pattern interrupt', it's when you interrupt an
automatic pattern of behaviour such as a handshake in mid
flow, it causes confusion which is a means of
overloading the conscious mind with content so that
suggestions are more easily accepted by the unconscious, the
theory being that when we are confused we will accept
and act upon the first direct communication offered
thereafter-the pattern was also utilised at the dog track when
Derren banged on the window with his hand and followed
it with a direct suggestion.A full description of
