Subject: Surgery & The power of suggestion

It is 00.11 am and i am tired. So i will, i am
afraid keep this short.

For those of you who have
read McGill's book, you will be aware of the
fraternity student who died from the 'wet towel beheading'.
Or the 'coin' stuck on the forehead induction.

The above will provide a context for this
email.

Well, i have done a trick for a few years that is very
simple, yet quite gruesome. (below is the highlights, if
you simply read it, it will not work
)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Gordon's 'Operation'*

"Can you (the
subject)close
your eyes.?"
"Good !"
[[Get a key or some sort
of metal (non sharp thing) your fingernail will do
]]
"Now roll up your sleeve "
[[Get some cold
water and rub it on the arm]]
"Just relax, dont
worry"
"Okay, i will now make the incision"
[[run the
'implement' down the wrist]]
[[The subject should panic
and open their
eyes]]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got the idea from the foreign con artists
who
performed non surgical tumour removal. People believed that
the hands were reaching inside their body .
If
any of you seen the show and peoples willingness to
part with cash, just to 'see' a sleight of hand
movement and some pigs spleen being removed, it was truly
scandalous.

Cheers,
Gordon

P.S. Anyway, it is amazing how
people see spoons 'bending'

So as an after note I
will share my views on mass delusion.

In
primary school, our class had a guess the number of
sweets in the jar game.

During lunch time, over
the course of two weeks, we broke into the jar and
stole a couple of 'sweets' now and again.

By
the time the draw was going to be made, the jar was
of 50% empty, yet we believed that , firstly, we had
only taken a couple, and secondly, the teacher would
not notice.

We were wrong !!!!!!.
:)

Have you ever, broke or spilled something and then
convinced yourself that no one will notice ?.

Bye
again,
Gordon
