I think you'd have to have some
real balls to try the betting slip stunt. If you tried
banging on the pay out window in some of the betting
shops around where I live demanding that this was the
winning ticket you might just find
a) the girl
behind the counter would spill her nail polish over the
betting slips and
b) you would be ejected from the
shop with minimum fuss and maximum
violence.
Bookies do not have a sense of humour especially when it
comes to(their) money!!!
I tried out the
sticking of the hand and the forgetting of the name effect
that DB used on Olga in the radio 1 interview. It
worked once out of the 3 people I tried it on. I have no
experience of hypnotism I just blagged that I had been doing
it successfully for a while and one person obviously
believed me.
I did notice that the one who
believed me was keen on the idea of being hypnotised -
probably an ideal candidate. Also I noticed that this was
the only person who really locked eyes with me when
the suggestions took place.
When DB did it on
the underground in MC X, he used a technique that I
think Gordon has mentioned before in a very good
previous post(#330). Something about the wave from top
right to bottom left across the eyes.
