When I first began to play around with
auto-suggestion, this is one of the tricks I used to perform for
the punters in the bar I worked at. I didn't use the
Leidenfrost principle though. It is possible to fool the
brain into not showing the physiological response to
hot objects (i.e. burning) that naturally/ordinarily
occurs. Good effect though - maybe use an ice-cube
instead? Then the skin would definitely be cold, and you
could perform it for longer.
