Subject: New guy and Meeting Derren
Hello - I've just joined the club and am very
pleased it exists. Obviously I'm a big fan of the man and
am interested in how he might do what he does, but
most of all his general skills as a performer. I am a
part-time magic buff and it's nice to find a forum that
appreciates DB's work straightforwardly rather than just
being a bunch of magicians missing the point and
arguing about technique in endless threads. This is very
refreshing.
Interestingly, I get to meet Derren on Saturday. We have a
mutual friend who is going to visit him for the day, and
I get to come along. I'll let you know what he's
actually like.
