The standard plot is a book is
chosen at random, the spectator turns to any page and
the mind reader is able to divine the information
that the spectator is reading. At all times the mind
reader is nowhere near the book and could not possibly
see which page has been turned to.
With a bit
of imagination, this could be presented as a
photo-reading effect.
