What he is bringing to the masses is his original
presentation of an old art form. Mentalists used to try to
convince people they were psychic, DB is trying to
convince people he is using psychology - and I have to say
he does it very well.
This is exactly right -
remember he also comes from a magic card trick background,
and he is very skilled at sleights. An example of
this is with his money in envelopes routine, it's
really pure magic dressed up with
'pyschology'.
