I did read the previous posts on
speed hypnosis which is what I guessed Derren did but I
mentioned it because he said he doesn't use hypnosis when
he clearly does.
I think Derren gave out a
suggestion when he told Leanda not to use the first letter
of her name. In her mind she heard 'first letter'
and 'name' so just switched it to the first letter of
his name. Although he denied this on the radio so I'm
probably barking up the wrong tree.

P.S. - Let us now what the book and video are like
when you get round to reading/watching them. Cool news
about signature too.
