Subject: Re: Milton Erickson - My voice will go..

I told you, It is a great book, i am glad you
bought it. Not many people have read it.

By
reading that book, you will subconsciously highlight,
just how much communication is non verbal. My
observation increased considerably, after reading about
Erickson. What, I think most people fail to realise is that
he did become so very acute in his observations (the
story about the man who cross dressed), and a lot of
people think of his stories as ego trips.

When I
realised that the world did not revolve around me, I
started to actually "notice" others and their reactions
towards me. I tend to rant and quite often, like Derren,
I am quite aggressive in my communication with
others, quite often you will see (in their face) a look
that says "wow what a wan*er !!!" . I then know it is
time to settle down and develop a more suitable
rapport. It is quite strange that once you have created
that settled rapport, you can later start to show
signs of your initial behaviour, and people don't seem
to mind, and will rant along with you !!.

But
that with that very first facial insult, I was gutted.

So, since we are all friends, I am going to spoil a
film for you !!!

"From Hell" starring Mr.
Depp

Very early on in the film. You see mister "Jack the
Ripper's" hand, preparing his instruments for a night on
the town. Look and observe the hand. !!!.
What is
important is, it is an old man's hand with an abundance of
dark hair on the back, now within the next five mins,
let's play match the hands. You will find the
killer.

*******************************************************
Cheers,
Gordon

"wow what a wan*er !!!". Sorry
to have spoiled the film. But it is an example of
actually "seeing". Just because you don't see the face,
does not mean they don't still show you who the killer
is.
