They are hardly acute observations.
I am
sure that almost every trick Derren does is explained
in detail somewhere. All i have done is associated
what he does, with some of the things that i have
read.
Once you know what to look for, it is difficult not to
notice.
It is strange that once you notice someone's
eye cues, you will always notice it. What i find
difficult is maintaining conversation, while observing eye
cues.
A cool experiment is trying to think of
pictures sounds or words whilst looking forward and not
moving your eyes. It is very difficult. You may need
another person to watch you. Since you often glance
without noticing.
When you are not focusing on
anything and are daydreaming. It is in my opinion such a
close state to hypnosis (or it can be easily
converted).
When someone is daydreaming (in a lecture or class),
watch their eye cues. It is very
entertaining.
Anyway, that last post inflated my ego. I am sure that
there are many others in this group, who know far more
than myself, and are not posting.
I just enjoy
reading peoples responses. The content of this message
board makes as good a read as any book. And I am sure
after MC2 tonight, more people will join the club and
so many of the posts will explain and evoke more
interest into what Derren does. I suppose that is not why
we post, but I, keep it in
mind.

My girlfriend and her mum

Or are you just fascinated with him?, as I suppose I
am, and most of the male members of this group are.
I wonder how many NLP authors are actually married.
Except Milton Erickson. I don't think Derren is.
Maybe there is a strong reason as why humans have
evolved into not noticing and knowing what others are
thinking.
I have read some stuff on speed seduction. All you
hear are the hits. You never hear about the woman who
says, " I think you are really nice, but would you
please learn to tie your shoelace properly". In my
opinion, unless you are skilled with NLP, you have more
chance of making an arse of yourself and looking like
and imbecile, than getting a woman to hop into bed
with you.
