Ok, this is the first post I have ever done my
life, so I will try to keep your attention!

Hi
all!
First of all, I wanna say thanks to lauren_macsporren
for setting this site up! If I remember correctly, I
was member number 8 last year when I joined, now we
have 57 members!
I have spent the last few days
reading ALL the posts you've all put on here - all very
interesting! I have loads of ideas on all the subjects you
have brought up, even though I am only just starting
out in mentalism.

Hi to all those people who
have just finished uni exams today (like me) & good
luck in your future exams if you are in
education.

Within the last few days I have obtained "pure effect"
by derren, "13 steps to mentalism" by corinda and I
am sending off for derren's 2 other products he has
out, tomorrow. Got loads to read now, and if you
haven't guessed, yes, I am a big fan of
Derrens!!

If you weren't aware of derren's products, he has
produced:
-"Pure effect" book (now out of print, although I will
read my copy soon and tell you about it)
he also
has now:
-"ABSOLUTE MAGIC" a book on magic, 224
pages, hardcover
-"THE DEVIL'S PICTUREBOOK" a video
on magic, just under 3 hours long.

Both are
£38 from http://www.derrenbrown.co.uk (product
page)
If you want to buy them, you will need to pass 2
magic questions (I bet you all know this already). I
don't want to upset derren's management by telling you
the answers, but if you use your brain, there are
always ways to obtain the answers.

Typical! I
don't have E4 when the repeats are on. Grr!
(To give
you a little info about myself) I - like derren -
used to do magic when I was younger, so I find it
easier than most to spot how derren does SOME of his
stuff. I just can't wait till his tour.

To stop
this post being ALL about me, lets talk about
derren!

I remember someone on the posts saying how at the
football stadium (rock, paper, scissors) derren's "victim"
did things in a certain order. The truth is much
simpler than that. For all of you with it on video, I
want you to watch it again, but this time, watch
derrens hands while he is talking.
You will discover
that after the crowd decide whether he should
win/lose, derren makes either scissors, a flat hand
(paper), or a fist (rock) while he says (for
example)
"ok, you want me to lose".
He then turns to the
victim and proceeds to win/whatever.

I have
noticed derren do this with "choose which hand the coin
is in", and also a scene in (I think) MC1 when he
asks a psychology student in the library to "choose
and envelope".

Sorry this is such a long post,
I promise future ones won't be this long!!

See ya later!
