Britain's new mind-bending star used his powers
for sex
Britain's most brain-boggling mind-bender
today confesses how he once used his hypnotic-like
super-powers to seduce beautiful women.
Dashing TV star
Derren Brown revealed: "Yes, I have used my skills to
chat up women and get them into bed. When I was
younger and first mastering these techniques, I was at it
all the time. I'd take women out and read into their
minds, then plant suggestions in their head. Nothing was
against their will, though!"
After stunning millions
on New Year's Day with his third channel 4 special,
30-year-old Derren added: "I've had a great response from
women fans and thousands of e-mails - so they must like
something I'm doing!" And from today you too can be in
control of the opposite sex- as Derren reveals
exclusively to the News of the World FIVE top mindreading
tips behind his awsome pulling power.
They are the
mental tricks that won over fans this week with stunts
like persuading a dog track bookie to pay out over
£100 on a LOSING ticket! "I was very naughty when I
started out," Derren admitted. "I'm banned from most
casinos because I used to control the croupiers so they
thought I'd been dealt the winning hand in blackjack!
It's very easy to get into somebody's mind. I can do
it in a handshake or a look. Everyone is very open
to suggestion and can be manipulated to get the
response you want. It's not hypnosis, it's not a trick and
there are no stooges with what I do - everyone can do
it. It's a mixture of logic, psychology and mind
games."
So how does he do it? And how can the rest of
us achieve that success with the opposite sex?

TIP ONE: "You can tell if anyone is lying to you
because they usually touch their face or rub their nose-
subconsciously covering up their lie. And most liars will reveal
themselves with their eyes. When people are recalling things
that really happened they look up and to their left,
but when people start imagining things that didn't
happen they look up and to their right."
TIP TWO:
"On a date you can tell if a woman is interested in
you or not by watching her eyes. If her pupils start
to dilate she is attracted to you."
TIP THREE:
"If you're looking at a woman across a bar or party
but she doesn't seem interested and is looking away,
just check out her feet or body position. If she
really is interested her feet will be pointing at you."

TIP FOUR: "A lot of the seduction is in the voice -
you can't speak to her in a boring monotonous tone or
be really fast and excited. The way to put her in a
suggestive frame of mind is to modulate the voice- so it's
like a rhythm- a calming pace and tone, with eye
contact."
TIP FIVE: "This is one that sneaky salesmen
employ. First get the woman talking on something she's
very passionate about, that makes her happy and gives
her a sense of well-being. It could be horse-riding,
a hobby, watching Eastenders- anything she's
genuinely excited about. At the height of this excitement,
make a gesture- like doing up your watch strap or
fixing your tie- whilst maintaining eye contact. Later
on in the evening, get eye contact again and repeat
that gesture. Her subconscious will identify this with
her earlier feeling of pleasure and therefore be open
to suggestion. It's then you ask for what you want-
her phone number, getting asked in for a coffee, or
something further!"
But Derren- who lives in Bristol
with his pet parrot Figaro- insists his days of
bedding girls with these ruses are over. "Nowadays it
doesn't do anything for me," he explained. "Now I look
for women who CAN'T be manipulated by me. The fun's
in the chase!"
Derren will soon be touring
Britain with his show and is secretely planning a
breathtaking stunt that will involve the entire population. "I
want to go on television and mind-control the whole
country," he revealed.
"Everyone can be suggested to
and I know I can make this work- just be on your
guard!"
