hello derren
im sorry this email isnt about
bookings or paintings but i thought you might like to know
about a news group on yahoo which about your mind
contol programes. it was started in august and its
really took off since mind control 3 and had over 3000
people visiting where a few people have posted about the
show and how amazing you are ( trying to suck up a bit
my work i hope ) . if youve got a spare few minutes
maybe you could check out everyones views as a bit of
feedback and maybe even post a few of your thoughts has a
few people have different opinions on the board.

Hi,
My manager receives five
hundred or so emails a week through the website, and I do
my best to read them all. I hope you'll understand
that I have no way of answering you all individually.
As the bulk of the mails ask similar questions, I'll
do my best to answer those here, and either he or I
will get back to other inquiries made.
Firstly,
I am planning a book on what I do, but there are no
books out there to my knowledge that teach anything
like these techniques. My interests come from magic,
hypnosis, theatre and interpersonal psychology - and
although there are works available on these areas in most
pop-psychology sections of
bookshops, nothing I know of has
been written on the combination of disciplines that
makes up what I do. If there was, it would have been a
far easier job for me to learn... it took me ten
years or so.
Similarly, because my immediate
interest is in performing, I don't offer any training on
the subject as yet. I may consider such things in the
future, but there are no plans at the moment. If anything
changes, you are on a mailing list to receive notification
of such things. As for giving talks and so on to
colleges and the like, this is something to pursue with my
management at [e-mail address obfuscated]
There are no
plans, at present, to release any of my television
specials on either video or DVD.
I can't offer any
one-to-one sessions or therapeutic help, although I am very
touched and flattered by those of you who write asking
for such things. I am a performer, and it would be
deeply unethical of me to step over into that area.
Please accept my apologies if you had inquired about
such things.
Although I explain much on the
show, there is also a lot which I keep to myself, which
hopefully will keep the shows interesting. There is a
regional tour planned for later in the year, and you will
be notified when plans come together for that nearer
the time. Meanwhile, I can be booked for private
parties and functions through my manager at the above
address (or through the site).
Thanks also for the
interest in the pictures from many of you.
I hope
some of the above has been useful to most of you -
apologies if it was all irrelevant. I appreciate the emails
I get, and forgive the fact that I'll only be able
to reply personally to a few of
you.
