Subject: betting ticket

It never actually occured to me that Derren might
have made the man choose the number of the dog to fit
in with what he was gonna say, if that makes sense.
It's possible cos one thing doesn't fit....

At
the beginning of the scene when he's doing the
voiceover he says "I don't do what you're about to see very
often anymore........" which indicates he did it all
the time and knew what he was doing. Yet when the man
was choosing his first dog, Derren quickly mentioned
that he didn't have a clue what he was looking at and
what it all meant on the card.

P.S. Thanks for the info on speed
reading. It would
definitely benefit me as I do English literature A-Level and
it means reading long boring books all the time and
studying them in detail.
