Subject: Speed reading

Speed Reading isn't actually that
difficult, but to take it to the kind of level we saw is
something that does take a lot of
time/practise.
ANYONE can increase reading speeds from an average
80-200 (very variable) words a minute to around 500-800
words a minute with some simple techniques in no more
than 3 hours.
This is no idle boast - I used to
teach speed reading in 2 days, then refined it to one
day. I was asked to run some taster sessions for
school governors, and achieved these results
consistently time after time in a 2.5 hour session (with 30
min break for coffee that's 3 hours).
Try
reading Tony Buzan's "Speed Reading" as a great book for
starters then progress from there. And this is NOT new
science - it's recorded back as early as the 1600s when
Magliabechi remembered an entire library...
