- Purcell, Daniel (b London, c1660 - d London, buried 26 November, 1717)
- Daniel Purcell was the brother of Henry Purcell, and he was also a notable musician. He was the organist of Magdalen College, Oxford between 1688 and 1695, and of St Andrew's, Holborn, London, from 1713 to 1717. Between 1695 and 1713, he was active in London as a theatre composer.
