Clucas, Humphrey (b 1941)
Clucas read English at King's College, Cambridge where he was also a choral scholar. He taught English for many years but has more recently switched to a full time musical career. He was a Lay Vicar at Westminster Abbey until his retirement in 1999. While he is probably best known for his responses written when he was an undergraduate in 1962, most of his serious work has been done in the last twenty years. He has written a great deal of choral music, mostly liturgical, and there is a growing body of organ music, and some instrumental pieces.
