As an ardent user of the Internet since 1993, my online life is scattered around various websites. Since finally succumbing to the concept of social networking on the Internet in August 2007, I feel there is little point in duplicating information here that is readily available elsewhere and therefore commend the following points of contact:
- Facebook (www.facebook.com/richard.shakeshaft)
only available to existing friends and friends of friends already on Facebook
- Twitter (@rshakeshaft)
often duplicating Facebook status updates but includes other bits and pieces from time to time; this is a protected account, but new followers are regularly accepted
- Blogger (www.rmjs.me.uk)
an irregular but varied blog in which all content is publicly available
For the linguistically and typographically inquisitive, the real name of the 'paragraph marker' used in the header is a pilcrow. Sadly, the section sign has no other name, but I choose to use it to indicate each section of the site, and - as it is sometimes referred to as a 'double S' - it connects nicely with the two esses in Shakeshaft.
